Well hello there!

I’m Amanda Apple-Veronee, the creative spirit behind Anthomanic! [a.k.a Owner/Floral Artist, etc etc.]

For years I have been helping brides and other event clients transform their event space and WOW their guests. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate; my ‘job’ simply entails doing what I love, with the bonus of being a part of such a magical day in my client’s lives! I feel that my art & interior design education (Bachelor of Fine Arts/Studio Art-Interior Design Major from JMU) and creative passion for both spatial design as well as floral design help me to create an unforgettable and highly personalized atmosphere for your event guests.

Away from ‘work’ I am a wife to my high school sweetheart, Robby, of eleven years. I’m a daughter to two loving parents who were a prime example of, “you can be whatever you want to be!”, “you get more bees with honey”, and ‘do right, even though you know no one is watching’. They also instilled in me that cutting corners is never the quickest and easiest way — that the hardest fought battle reaps the biggest reward. I’m a sister to three awesome babes. I’m a very proud aunt. I’m a mom to two fur babies; one ’round’ one and one skinny one that belong in a cartoon. I’m a yearly Disney World vacationer, an artist with a piece of charcoal, a dream chaser, and am inspired by the world around me. I pull some of my biggest inspirations and passions from art history, Tim Burton, Walt Disney, and the late artist that was Alexander McQueen. Playing on my Pandora: Mumford & Sons, Metallica, Aerosmith, Danny Elfman, Soldiers of Jah, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johnny Cash, Eminem, and a little bit of ‘old school’ rap Above all, transcending our physical world, I thank God for everything – past present and future, as well as my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
